We recently published our passion project, ‘Clean Kweens Budget Basics’, an ebook with over 100 healthy recipes that anyone and everyone can make and enjoy! Our main focus with this ebook was to make the recipes family friendly, simplified and full of accessible ingredients that won’t break the bank (no health food shop haul necessary here!) The recipes range from sweet to savoury, vegetarian to meat-based dishes, and meals to snacks, such a variety! 

Today we're sharing one of our favourite healthy smoothie recipes!

CHOC BANANA & PB PROTEIN SMOOTHIE


INGREDIENTS:

1 frozen banana

3 ice cubes

1/2 cup cold water

1/2 cup almond milk

3 pitted dates

3 tbs chocolate protein powder

1 tbs peanut butter

 

METHOD:

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender & blitz to combine. 
  2. Pour into a glass/jar of choice & enjoy!
